Junior high school students enter high school because of the deepening of teaching content, the improvement of thinking requirements and the increase of classroom capacity. So I think it is a key step for students to learn to preview as soon as possible to adapt to high school study. To this end, I want to talk about how freshmen preview math textbooks for students' reference:
First, clear meaning is the source of motivation for learning preview.
Learning to learn is the basic quality of modern people. The meaning of the preview is as follows: 1. Cultivate good study habits. Learn to study independently and master the methods of self-study to lay the foundation for lifelong learning; 2. Preview is helpful to understand the knowledge points and difficulties to be learned in the next section, remove some knowledge obstacles for class, and establish the connection between old and new knowledge by filling in the gaps, which is conducive to the systematization of knowledge; 3. It helps to improve the effect of listening to lectures. For the questions that are not understood in the preview, when the teacher explains this part of knowledge, the goal is clear, the attitude is positive, and the attention is concentrated, so it is easy to understand the questions that are not understood. At the same time, preview helps to record and use the lecture notes, and some contents in the textbook can be omitted, which can squeeze out time, listen carefully, analyze carefully and improve efficiency.
Second, "reading, drawing, writing and searching" are the basic steps of preview:
1. "Read"-read it roughly first to understand the main idea of the textbook. Read carefully according to the characteristics of the topic. Mathematics textbooks can be divided into concepts, laws (including laws, theorems, inferences, properties, formulas, etc. ), diagrams, examples, exercises and so on. ① Distinguish the steps of solving problems and point out the key points; (2) Make clear the basis of each step, and form the habit of asking why in each step and having evidence step by step; ③ Comparing the characteristics of the examples in the same section, trying to understand the intention of choosing examples; ④ Analyze the standard problem-solving format of examples and do the problems according to the example format.
2. "Planning"-that is, the level and focus of planning. Divide the content of a chapter into several levels and mark them with serial numbers respectively.
3. "Write"-that is, write down your own views and experiences in the blank space of the book.
(1) Write paragraph meaning: write paragraph meaning at the edge of the book for each paragraph; (2) Write a summary: First, summarize the contents of this book; Second, it reflects the juxtaposition and subordination between the contents of this section; (3) Example: explain the basis of each main step in the margin of the book, and write the characteristics of this example with symbols or words in the blank after the question, reflecting the editor's intention to choose the example; (4) Variant: Excellent students are required to change the conditions and conclusions of the examples from special to general, and to connect with relevant knowledge horizontally and develop vertically.
4. "Check"-that is, the effect of self-examination and preview.
Close the book and think about what the teacher will say in the next class, what has been understood and what has not been understood.
