For each student, in the first half of the month, I usually don't lecture the contents of the textbook, but use the topic of "talking big about mathematics" to explore the connotation of mathematics, refine the laws of mathematics, reveal the characteristics of mathematics, deepen the application of mathematics, publicize the charm of mathematics, and make students feel interested and passionate, so that they are no longer embarrassed and afraid of mathematics, but only have the confidence and passion to learn mathematics well. So although I don't have to assign too much homework, they can study math easily.
On the other hand, today's primary and secondary school students, many people hate mathematics to the point where they want to give up, and are afraid of mathematics to the point where they are afraid. I don't think this is the reason of mathematics itself. Interest is the best teacher. Once students' interest in mathematics is stimulated, it becomes easier to learn mathematics well.
The primary and secondary school stage is a critical period for a person's intellectual development. This is actually a double-edged sword. On the one hand, if a child learns what he is interested in in in primary and secondary schools, his intelligence will be greatly developed, and his energy will even exceed the imagination of adults. On the other hand, if a child is forced to learn something he is not interested in in in primary and secondary schools, his intelligence will be seriously stifled. So don't force your child to learn things that he is not interested in! In other words, if you think children must learn this knowledge, then cultivate their interest in this knowledge first.
