On the teaching of mathematics reading in primary schools.
In the teaching and learning of mathematics knowledge, it is more important for students to learn to read than to learn knowledge. Because reading is an important activity in the progress and development of human society, it is also an important means for human society to acquire knowledge and perceive the world. However, in traditional reading teaching, people often mistake it for Chinese reading and ignore math reading. In today's "social digitalization", only Chinese reading ability can't fully adapt to the society. Therefore, as teachers, it is particularly important for us to cultivate students' mathematical reading ability. Combined with many years' teaching experience in primary school mathematics reading, this paper talks about some of my own humble opinions.

First, cultivate students' interest in reading

Any behavior is born of interest, so interest is the best teacher and the intrinsic motivation of students' learning. In reading, you will certainly encounter many problems and difficulties. If you lack interest again, it will be easier to retreat and escape. Therefore, teachers should first stimulate students' interest in reading and let students feel the pleasure of reading. Only when students are interested in the provided materials can they read actively and attentively. Therefore, whether it is in-class reading guidance or extracurricular reading recommendation, we should use students' eyes to judge and choose what students like and what they need.

1. Guidance on Mathematics Reading Methods

Teaching students reading skills is the way to teach students to read mathematics correctly. However, due to the symbolic, logical, rigorous and abstract characteristics of mathematical language, it is decided that mathematical reading must be combined with diligent thinking, reading and writing, and drawing inferences from others.

2. Improve the quality of mathematics reading.

Mathematics is a language, and the reading process of mathematics is a complete psychological process. According to the characteristics of mathematics reading, when reading mathematics, we should concentrate on reading, think and analyze. When reading, we should grasp the key points and read carefully according to the teacher's reading outline. Concepts, formulas, laws, etc. Are the focus of reading, so we should carefully analyze and find out the essence of concepts, the conditions and conclusions of formulas and laws, and the ideas of derivation. The symbols and charts in the text should be combined with the content of the text, carefully thought and analyzed, and the combination of numbers and shapes should be achieved.

Second, cultivate students' good reading habits.

In the usual teaching or practice, we often find that students have strange mistakes. The reason is that students don't finish reading the questions completely when they do it, and often start writing the questions only after reading half the sentences, which causes many mistakes that should not appear. There are many mistakes, which can be found after reading through them at last, which also helps students to develop the good habit of checking and calculating. Only when teachers often remind and pay attention to infiltration in their usual exercises and homework can students gradually develop good reading habits.

1. Let students learn the habit of being good at reading.

Math books need to be reread, read intensively and read skillfully. The calculation process should be based on reading. In calculation teaching, students should not only understand formulas and rules, but also train them to understand intermediate processes. Through reading, let students understand the requirements of the topic, see clearly the numbers, symbols and order of operation, and understand the operation method. Mathematical concepts should be read intensively according to the structure, so that students can learn how to understand concepts, and on this basis, guide students to read concepts intensively. To solve the problem, we must read skillfully, focus on the key words, read the omitted sentence patterns completely, and change the words with meanings.

2. Let students develop the habit of reading.

(1) Doubts in "Reading". Dare to question is the key to students' active learning. Through reading, students can ask questions, stimulate their interest in learning, and urge them to think actively, actively and creatively, so as to participate in the activities of exploring new knowledge independently. (2) Understanding in "reading". For some key words, phrases and sentences, we should circle the marks, correctly understand the mathematical language and master the mathematical concepts. (3) Comparison in "reading". Contrastive "reading" is a reading method that internalizes knowledge by comparing the vertical and horizontal connections and differences of knowledge. Read while reading, so that students can firmly grasp the key points of knowledge, systematically grasp the connections and differences between knowledge, and lay a solid foundation for flexible use in the future.

Third, combine reading with thinking, and pay attention to thinking and communication in mathematics reading activities.

In the process of reading, thinking is very important, thinking in reading and finding problems. Although the definitions and laws in mathematics textbooks are concise, they are not as vivid, vivid and humorous as literary language, and are often difficult to understand. Therefore, when guiding reading, teachers should guide and inspire students to be close to the reality of life, do everything possible to encourage students to think actively, at multiple levels and from multiple angles, and form the good habit of asking why in everything.

In addition, mathematics reading is a purposeful and organized activity to absorb and exchange mathematical information. Promoting students' thinking development is the starting point and destination of mathematics reading, so reading activities should be challenging, inspiring and enlightening, with certain goal orientation, which can stimulate students' complex thinking and advanced cognition and avoid making mathematics reading activities a mere formality. Therefore, students should be guided to find and ask questions in the process of reading, and have lively exchanges and dialogues around the questions, so as to obtain multi-angle and multi-level inspiration from the simple to the deep, and then obtain the transformation and reorganization of the knowledge structure.
