Shanghai Qibao Middle School was formerly known as1Shanghai Qibao Agricultural Vocational School, which was founded in April 1947, and Shanghai Nanyang Model Middle School Qibao Branch, which was founded in September 1947. 1In August, 956, the two schools merged to form Shanghai Qibao Middle School. 1997 moved into the new campus.

By the end of August, 20 16, Qibao Middle School had an area of 146.7 mu, a building area of 65,000 square meters, 5 classes1class, more than 2,400 students and 202 teachers, with about 1200 students enrolled each year.

Shu Ren school

Named after the writer Zhou Shuren, the sculpture of Lu Xun standing on the first floor of the teaching building is one of the standards of the school. Shu Ren School is the core teaching building of the school. There are more than 40 class teachers, grade group teachers' offices and three stepped classrooms on both sides of the building.

Graphic Information Building (under construction)

The graphic information building was built on the site of the original Zhongshu Bookstore, named after the writer Qian Zhongshu. There are two floors underground and five floors above ground, with a building area of 1 1000 square meters, which will replace the original central library and become a new landmark building of the school. At present, the library has been temporarily moved to the fifth floor on the east side of Shu Ren School, with a collection of120,000 copies and more than 300 kinds.

Xingzhi office building

The building, named after the educator Tao Xingzhi, includes the office of school leaders, the office of the Youth League Committee, the Ministry of Education, trade unions, educational affairs, general affairs, information center, language group, English group, mathematics group, political group, history group and geography group.

Zhengdao science and technology building

The building, named after China scientist Li Zhengdao, includes a geography classroom, a chemistry laboratory, a physics laboratory, a life science laboratory, a computer room and offices for physics and chemistry students, computers and technicians.

Xinghai art building

The building, named after musician Xian Xinghai, includes a music classroom, an art classroom, and the office of the teaching and research group of music and aesthetics. The piano room and dance room are open to students from 8: 00 to/kloc-0 to 7: 00. The Observatory is located on the top floor of Xinghai Art Building.

Guotuan gymnasium

Named after China's first world champion, Rong Guotuan, opening hours: 9:00- 18:00.

Wenfu canteen

Named after Lu, the author of the prose "Gourmet", the first and second floors are the dining area for students, and the third floor is the dining area for staff.

Zhuang Yong swimming pool

Named after Zhuang Yong, the Shanghai Olympic champion, students have a swimming lesson here once a week, providing hot water in winter and spring, and it is open to the public during non-class hours and in cold and summer.
