The particularity of the outdoor stage performance venue and the special requirements of the program nature and content, especially the overall artistic conception requirements of the stage director, need special lighting design schemes to meet, and sometimes even need to add special lighting positions to complete the performance tasks.

3. Outdoor performance venues do not have the inherent lighting design system and lighting boom hoisting system of frame stage, and most of them are temporarily built. Whether it is the setting of the main power supply, the number of wires, the calculation of lamps and lanterns, or the choice of control system, it is almost necessary to start from scratch. Due to the variety and quantity of outdoor performance lamps, the rationality of lamp control room, power supply room and various lamp position layout must be considered.

4. Generally, the audience for foreign performances are from three sides (left, middle and right). When arranging stage lighting, we should not ignore the visual needs of the left and right audience. If there is a TV broadcast or video recording, you need to know the relevant requirements in advance and consider them when designing the stage lighting.

5. The outdoor performance can't change the scene at will like the theater in the stage lighting design, and it needs to set off the stage atmosphere through the stage lighting.

From the above reasons, it can be analyzed that outdoor stage lighting design needs to consider various factors comprehensively, and even in many cases, it needs to consider the lighting and connection of the surrounding environment and other related issues.
