How to do physics calculation in senior high school?
Feng, a student of Laifeng Middle School in Bishan, Chongqing, studied physics in senior high school for a period of time and did a lot of physical calculation problems, always making such mistakes. I usually do calculation problems in exams, but I can't do them because I lose too many points. After the exam, after the guidance of my classmates and teachers, I suddenly realized and regretted it. Repeatedly, students lose confidence in doing calculation problems. It turns out that high school physics calculation problems are not as simple, clear and direct as junior high school physics problems, but the physical process is complex, the theory is profound and the problems are hidden, which may be confusing for students with poor basic knowledge. Here I summed up five words that should be paid attention to when doing physics calculation problems in senior high school, namely "reading, thinking, writing, checking and collecting", for students' reference when doing problems. (1) "Reading" means carefully reading every sentence, word and even punctuation used in the topic. Every sentence in the topic may explain a physical process. Before the first question, read "at a certain initial speed" and "vertically downward". Before the second full stop, it is necessary to correctly read out the words "bump upward", "fall after rising to a height of 20 m" and "take 9.8 m/s2 without air resistance, and keep two significant figures". After reading these questions, you will leave an impression in your mind, such as how much to take when you encounter the constant g, and even what role G plays in the calculation process, which will remind you to think invisibly. After this process is over, the second step of "thinking" will be carried out. (2) "Thinking" means thinking. The classified query of periodical articles shows that the initial speed is not zero in a periodical library with a certain initial speed; "vertical downward throwing" means pointing downward to make a straight line motion; "Excluding air resistance" means that the ball is accelerated only by gravity after being thrown. What is the acceleration? Only by gravity, which means a = g, to sum up, the ball moves in a straight line at a uniform speed, and its initial velocity is not zero. Numerically, the initial velocity can be obtained by knowing the displacement, time and acceleration of falling. The "bump and bounce" in the second sentence means that the speed and direction of the ball are changed by the elasticity and gravity of the ground. If we know the collision time and the velocity after collision, we can establish a formula according to the momentum theorem. "Falling to a height of 20 m" means that the ball does not return to its proper height and there is energy loss during the collision. According to "rising to a height of 20 m", the initial velocity can be obtained. After that, the ball will fall freely and collide with the ground for the second time. Assuming that the energy lost in each collision is the same, how many times can you touch it, the ball will not rise again. After this whole thinking process, the next step is "writing". (3) "Writing" is to write out the relationship between physical processes and physical laws, and then solve unknown physical quantities according to the relationship. After this process, enter the next link "check". (4) "Check" is to check whether there are omissions, clerical errors and miscalculations in reading. But it's not a carpet search, it's to check the places you are not sure about in the process of doing your homework, especially to see if the topic is clear, if there are any omissions in the physical process, and if the reasons for the conclusion are sufficient, and then calculate the places that are easy to make mistakes. These are the habits that you consciously cultivate when you do your homework. Of course, the above five steps are not absolutely independent. You can think while reading, but be careful not to answer questions while reading. Only after comprehensive and meticulous thinking can we answer questions comprehensively and accurately, otherwise we will be nervous, out of control and out of order. Only by developing good habit of doing problems and solid basic knowledge can we improve the scoring rate of physics calculation problems in senior high school.
