The library of the Institute of International Relations was founded in February 1949, built as an independent special building in February/963, and moved into a new building of 5,925 square meters in February/986. Mr Zhao Puchu inscribed the name of the library. 200 1, the building is fully renovated, and the service functions are more complete.

The library spends about 6,543,800 yuan on books every year. At present, there are more than 260,000 books in Chinese and foreign languages, more than 700 newspapers and periodicals in Chinese and foreign languages, more than 0,000 CDs 10000, nearly 40,000 e-books and 38 databases 138. All documents and materials are open-shelf.
