Tomsk National University Science Library was established in 1880, which is the largest university library in Siberia and one of the largest libraries in Russia. There are more than 4 million books, about 2 million of which are in different languages. University libraries contain various languages, including Russian, English, German, French, Chinese and so on. It exceeds the book reserves of China's highest institution of learning, Tsinghua University Peking University, and is a truly world-class library in Russia, second only to Moscow State University and St. Petersburg State University.
