1, Introduction
Tianjin Agricultural University, founded in 1976, is the only agricultural college in Tianjin. In 2002, with the approval of Tianjin Municipal Government, Tianjin Urban and Rural Economic School was merged into Tianjin Agricultural University.
1982 was granted the right to a bachelor's degree, and in 2006 was granted the right to a master's degree. The first batch of pilot universities in China to reform the education and training plan for outstanding agricultural and forestry talents. The school takes agricultural science as the main body and advantage, and agriculture, industry, management, science, economics and literature develop harmoniously. After years of school-running practice, it has formed a distinctive school-running feature that closely follows the regional economic and social development and serves the modern agriculture of coastal cities.
As of March 20 14, the school has two campuses, the east campus and the west campus, covering an area of 1049 mu and a building area of 300,000 square meters. There are modern teaching buildings, experimental buildings, libraries, network centers, stadiums and other facilities, with more than 6,543,800 students.
