Overview of the Library of Inner Mongolia University for Nationalities
The library of Inner Mongolia University for the Nationalities has always followed the tenet of "readers first, service and education", providing readers with services such as book borrowing, information consultation, user training and interlibrary loan. It is the document information center of Inner Mongolia University for Nationalities, an academic institution serving teaching and scientific research, and an important base for university informatization and social informatization.

As a university library in a minority area, the library of Inner Mongolia University for Nationalities attaches great importance to the construction of characteristic collection resources, and devotes itself to the collection and arrangement of cultural and folk customs in Horqin and Mongolian documents, covering Mongolian folk customs, costumes, Mongolian medicine, Buddhism and so on. After years of hard work, we have now collected Mongolian folk customs such as hunting, carpentry, wrestling and clothing.

In order to strengthen the management and utilization of literature resources of Inner Mongolia University for Nationalities as a whole and provide more convenient and efficient personalized services for teaching and scientific research, the library of Inner Mongolia University for Nationalities has built a unified library integration system in three campuses of the school, realizing the automatic management from literature construction to reader service. In 2003, two large electronic reading rooms located in the East and North Districts were officially opened, and Chinese and foreign language databases, electronic periodicals, electronic books and dissertations were launched one after another, which were well received by readers.
