Panzhihua Experimental School was established in 1998. It was formed by the merger of the former No.8 Middle School of Panzhihua City (founded in 1984) and the former primary school attached to Panshi University (founded in 1978). It is the only nine-year compulsory education school in Panzhihua City under the Education Bureau. The school is located in the center of Panzhihua, the capital of vanadium and titanium in China, the sunshine flower city and the national excellent tourist city. Located at No.0/4, Hongfu Lane, east of Panzhihua City, covering an area of 42,438 square meters. It is the largest school in the city's basic education stage and is known as the "basic education aircraft carrier" of Panzhihua City. The campus environment is elegant and has modern education and teaching facilities. It is equipped with three computer network classrooms for students, eight special laboratories, five art rooms and music rooms, a library with more than 90,000 books, 1 elegant and warm reading room for teachers and students, an intimate hall that can accommodate more than 300 people, 1 200m plastic sports ground and 1 400m plastic sports ground. The school has 282 teaching and administrative staff, including 52 teachers with middle and senior titles/kloc-0.
