In 2023, Southeast University approved the general professional group 05+ unlimited minimum admission score of 660 points in Jiangsu Province and the undergraduate approved the general professional group 06 physics+(chemistry or biology) minimum admission score of 647 points. In 2023, Southeast University approved Jiangsu History Undergraduate General Professional Group 02 History+unlimited minimum admission score of 629 points.
Southeast University 1902 was founded in Sanjiang Normal School, followed by Liangjiang Normal School and Nanjing Higher Normal School. National Southeast University was founded in 192 1, and was renamed many times. 1928 was named as National Central University. 1952 colleges and departments in colleges and universities were adjusted, and the arts and sciences of the school moved out.
Taking the former School of Engineering of Central University as the main body, it was merged into Fudan University, Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University, Jinling University and other related departments. Nanjing Institute of Technology was established in the original site of National Central University, and 1988 restored the name of Southeast University. In 2000, it merged with the former Nanjing Railway Medical College, Nanjing Jiaotong University and Nanjing Geological School to form a new Southeast University.
