According to the website of dengzhou city No.1 Senior High School, a newly-built high school covers an area of 386 mu and is located in the east of the city. Planned and designed by China Nonferrous Metals Research Institute, it is reasonable and novel, with magnificent momentum and first-class architecture, and can accommodate 96 classes. The middle of the campus is a teaching office area, the east is a living and sports area, and the west is a staff residential area and an ecological park. By March 2007, the first phase of the project had been completed.
