The books of Wuhan University of Technology are only available for teachers, students, graduate students and undergraduates. Teachers, students and off-campus staff of other institutions are not allowed to borrow books in this library.

Wuhan University of Technology is located in Wuhan. It is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of China, a national "double-class" construction university, and a "21Project" and "985 Engineering Advantage Discipline Innovation Platform" construction university, which is jointly established by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Transport, the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and the Hubei Provincial People's Government. It has been selected into "11/plan", outstanding engineer education and training plan, national postgraduate plan for building high-level universities, new engineering research and practice project, scholarship receiving institution of China government for overseas students in China, and national college students' cultural quality education base.
