Wuhan Donghu College, located in Wuhan, Hubei Province, is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education.
As the first batch of pilot institutions for the transformation and development of local undergraduate colleges in Hubei Province to application-oriented universities, Hubei Provincial Demonstration School for Deepening Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform is the first batch of universities in Hubei Province to enhance their innovation ability ("20 1 1 Plan" in Hubei Province) and one of the sponsors of the alliance of application-oriented universities in Hubei Province.
The school, formerly known as Donghu Branch of Wuhan University, was founded in 2000 and is one of the first four independent colleges in China. 20 1 1 Approved by the Ministry of Education, it was transferred and renamed Wuhan Donghu College.
According to the official website of the school in August of 20021year, the school covers an area of 1496 mu, with a total construction area of 500,000 square meters, with a collection of more than 6,543,800 paper books and 2,030,000 electronic books.
