Jilin Institute of Physical Education was founded in 1958, located in Changchun City, Jilin Province with beautiful environment and distinct seasons. It is the only higher physical education institution in Jilin Province. In 2004, with the approval of Jilin Provincial People's Government, the former Jilin Provincial Sports School was merged into Jilin Institute of Physical Education. The school has two campuses, Nanling and He Lin, covering an area of 627,000 square meters. At present, we are actively promoting the construction of a new airport campus covering an area of 893,654,38+0,000 square meters.

The school is a high-level application-oriented university with characteristics in Jilin Province, and it is also the construction unit of the doctoral authorization project in Jilin Province.
