When the Library of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China was founded, it collected the electronic documents of three university libraries: Jiaotong University, Nanjing Institute of Technology and South China University of Technology. After 50 years of continuous accumulation and development, a collection system featuring literature resources of electronics and related disciplines has been established. As of September 2007, the library has a total collection of 3,493,500 books, including 654.38+708,000 paper documents and 654.38+785,500 digital documents. Chinese and foreign full-text and abstract digital resource systems mainly include: Superstar Digital Library, Founder Apabi e-book, Tsinghua full-text periodical database, VIP full-text periodical database, China doctoral thesis database, NPC newspaper, EI, IEL, SPIE, EBSCO, Kluwer, INSPEC, SpringerLink, PQDD-B, etc. In addition, we have built a large number of characteristic databases. Such as: the full-text database of dissertations, the navigation system of key disciplines, the management and service system of teaching reference information, the database of teachers and students' monographs, the online publishing system of CD-ROM collection, the navigation system of online periodicals, etc.
