Lida Yin Zhi
There is a stone carving in the square in front of the Sports Art Center of Changwu Road Campus. Many people stopped to look at it. This is a China seal. The seal is engraved with the word "Lida". Yang Wen seal cutting is adopted, and the background color is bright China red. Both sides of the seal are engraved with words and patterns, one side is quotations from The Analects of Confucius, and the other side is quotations from linguist Lv Shuxiang, and the words are cyan. The three primary colors of red, cyan and stone complement each other, and the whole seal is simple in shape, creating a rich cultural atmosphere. The "Seal of Lida" sculpture was created by Shen Jianguo, a famous Suzhou sculptor. Lida's seal is the word "Lida", which is the work of Pan Feng, a seal engraver of Wumen. This is the name of the school and the core connotation of the school motto. On the left side of the "Lida Seal" is engraved "If you want to stand, you can stand, if you want to reach it." From the Analects of Confucius, it is the source of the name "Lida" in our school. Calligraphy is appropriate in thickness, with alternating shades and flowing clouds. The work was written by Suzhou painter Laosi. "Lida" has a profound cultural origin, because it originated from The Analects of Confucius. On the right side of Lida seal, there is an inscription by Lv Shuxiang, a famous linguist in China. Lv Shuxiang used to teach in Suzhou Middle School in Jiangsu Province. So far, Suzhou Middle School Library has always regarded this sentence as the motto of the library. Lida Middle School also quoted this slogan when it moved to Xinqiao Lane Campus and established a library. Today, this sentence follows Lida teachers and students into the new campus of Changwu Road. This is the motto of scholars and the fine tradition of Suzhou middle school, which shows that the educational thoughts of Su Zhong and Lida are in the same strain.
