Use free online whiteboard software! Support multi-person remote collaboration
Hello, I'm Xiao Hao.

Today, I will introduce an online whiteboard tool for remote collaboration-Booz whiteboard combination. With the whiteboard link, friends from all over the world can easily join the collaboration and get rid of the time and space constraints.

Booz Whiteboard is an online whiteboard tool based on browser, which can be used immediately when you open the browser in official website, and there is no need to install the client locally before using it.

Based on the characteristics of the browser, this means that you can use the Booz whiteboard on different systems, including Windows, macOS and Linux systems, supported devices: computers, iPad and various Android tablets.

For the sake of user experience, it is not supported to use Booz whiteboard on mobile phones at present.

The whiteboard created in Booz whiteboard does not need to be set in size, because the created whiteboard has no size limit by default, and can accommodate everything, including words (handwritten words), shapes, notes, sketchpads, pictures, office documents (PPT and PDF), mind maps, flowcharts and so on.

If the remaining space in the current canvas focus area can't accommodate the new elements, you can hold down the right mouse button for a long time, or hold down the space bar and drag the canvas with the mouse.

After creating a new whiteboard in Booz whiteboard, click the "Share" button in the upper right corner to get the * * * sharing link of the whiteboard, share the link with the members participating in the collaboration, and start the discussion in the same whiteboard.

The collaboration mode of Booz whiteboard is very similar to the "online document" used by many people. The editing operation of each member in the whiteboard will be synchronized to other members in real time, which can ensure the timeliness of remote collaborative editing.

By default, the created whiteboard background is a dotted background. If you don't like this style, you can change it to another background style.

Click "Settings" in the upper right corner and select "Grid Switch". In the pop-up window, you can change the point background to Solid Color Background or Grid Background.

When using the physical whiteboard, the whiteboard pen is our expression tool. When switching to online Booz whiteboard, we can still use the built-in "brush" tool to express our ideas freely.

Booz Whiteboard provides three brush presets of different sizes and colors (black, yellow and red). If the preset brush can't meet your needs, you can click on the brush to open the settings panel and customize the thickness and color of the brush.

The content drawn by the brush tool will be saved in the whiteboard in the form of vector lines, and the canvas will not be distorted if it is enlarged infinitely. Select any line to change its color and line width.

Considering that it may be inefficient to write on the whiteboard with a brush tool and a mouse, Booz whiteboard also provides a "text" tool that allows you to code words on the whiteboard with a keyboard.

When editing text, you can change the font, font size, thickness, arrangement, text color and background color of the text.

Text added to the artboard will be stored in a separate text box. Drag the anchor point in the lower right corner of the text box with the mouse to quickly scale the text.

The text box mentioned above is suitable for short and concise input. If you want to insert a long paragraph of text on the whiteboard, you can insert a "document" on the whiteboard.

For the paragraphs in the document, the Booz whiteboard adopts the very popular "block" design in the last two years. Drag a paragraph with the mouse to freely change the position of the paragraph.

Booz whiteboard supports uploading pictures locally. Use the "brush" tool introduced earlier to circle the uploaded pictures and mark the key information of the pictures.

Click "Upload" in the toolbar on the left, and select "Insert Picture" in the secondary menu to upload the JPEG/JPG/PNG format pictures to the local area.

After the picture is uploaded to the Booz whiteboard, you can use the brush tool (shortcut key is P) on the left toolbar to draw the key information of the picture freely, and use the eraser tool to erase unnecessary marks.

If the uploaded picture is watermarked or contains irrelevant content, you can click the "crop" button at the top of the picture to enter the editing state, and drag the dotted line around the picture (crop edge) to crop the picture.

It should be noted that in addition to clicking the "Upload" menu in the toolbar on the left, the Booz whiteboard also provides two other ways to upload pictures quickly:

Booz Whiteboard Mix introduced PWA application in the latest update. You can install it in the browser. When you need to use the whiteboard, you can quickly start the application by double-clicking the Booz whiteboard icon on the desktop, instead of typing the Booz whiteboard official website link in the browser every time.

Take Microsoft's Edge browser as an example. First, open the Booz whiteboard official website, click "…" in the upper right corner, and then click Apply >; & gt install this website as an application.

After installing the Booz whiteboard PWA application, check "Create Desktop Shortcut", and then click "Allow" below. Booz whiteboard will generate a shortcut on the computer desktop, and then when you need to use the whiteboard, double-click the Booz whiteboard icon on the desktop to start the application quickly ~

Compared with other whiteboard software, Booz whiteboard has a major feature-real-time saving. Every operation in the whiteboard will be automatically saved to the server of Booz whiteboard in real time, without worrying about data loss caused by browser flashback or equipment failure.

Click "Version History" in the lower left corner to open the "Version History" panel on the left to view the history automatically saved by Booz whiteboard in the past.

If you want to restore the current version to an earlier version, you can click "…" on the right side of the version history and select "Restore this version" in the pop-up menu.

It is worth noting that at present, the Booz whiteboard will not save each step as a separate version, but will save the multi-step operation as a version for a period of time.

If you want to save the current version status separately, you can click the plus sign in the upper left corner to manually add a history in the version history.

In addition to the functions listed above, Booz whiteboard Mix has more highlights for you to explore and experience. Interested friends can go to official website to experience it.

Above, I hope it helps.

If it helps you, please don't forget to like it or pay attention to it ~ See you next time.
