When I was a senior three teacher in 2006, I paid more attention to students' physical and mental health, especially in a period of time before the college entrance examination, I talked to students who didn't perform well in the exam one by one, learned the truth, guided review in a targeted manner, and adjusted students' learning status in time, which achieved certain results. In Senior Three (6), 26% of the students' college entrance examination results are the results of previous exams, and 29% of the students' college entrance examination results are the second highest (some students are only worse than previous exams 1 point). They also have many setbacks in the process of learning, but most of them can treat and deal with them with a correct attitude.
The following is an email sent to me by Zhou Yingying recently, which I believe is of reference value to some students.
The college entrance examination is not only a test of your knowledge, but also a test of your mentality and physical quality. Take me for example, my math scores have been unstable, always good and bad. Every exam is like gambling and taking a chance. In addition, I have often caught a cold since the beginning of senior three, and I am worried about what will happen if I don't do well in the exam, and my mood has become very impetuous. In this way, in the last two exams before the college entrance examination, I got 67 and 82 (the average score was about 120), which meant that I lost everything and my mind was empty. But it made me calm down and think. Teacher Wen talked to me and said that I had no problem in mastering the subject knowledge, mainly because of my bad mentality. I calmed down and recalled the recent exam, thinking that the college entrance examination is less than 20 days away, so I can't make a qualitative leap, as long as I play my normal level, so that my parents, teachers and myself are worthy. With this mentality, I suddenly feel very relaxed. I didn't force myself to do a lot of problems, but I read the math books for three years in high school word by word and took out examples to do them, so as to keep the feeling of doing them. No matter how you take the college entrance examination, you can't get any books, so reading textbooks is a good way to review your mistakes, and you won't lose your confidence because you can't do the questions.
As for the paper you failed in the exam, don't throw it away, and don't be discouraged by it. You can turn them into waste. After correcting all the wrong questions, I carefully analyzed the reasons for my mistakes, and then put the paper where I can see it and others can't see it, and read it occasionally. Because the scores on paper have the functions of refreshing the mind, enhancing attention and self-control. Therefore, my study efficiency in the final stage has improved a lot, and I got 125 in the college entrance examination (this is the score of all previous exams in the next semester of senior three).
It's nothing to fail in the exam, and it's nothing to fail in the exam before the college entrance examination. Don't give up on yourself, don't underestimate yourself, it can only represent the past, adjust your mentality, and the college entrance examination can also be successful. In addition, you should also listen carefully to the precautions given by the teacher before the exam. I did the math exam in full accordance with the teacher's requirements. I gave up the third question of 2 1 as soon as I couldn't write it. The teacher said before (not exactly the same) and it went well.
This is my experience of mathematics in college entrance examination. I hope some unstable students like me can get some help after reading this article.
College entrance examination is not only a competition of knowledge, but also a competition of psychological quality and physical quality. Senior three, especially in the next semester, should carefully find out the reasons after each exam, distinguish between intellectual errors and psychological errors, and conduct targeted training in time (under the guidance of teachers). Zhou Yingying's two consecutive scores less than 20 days before the college entrance examination can be said to have shocked himself, his parents and his teachers (the average score of other exams in the next semester of senior three is 107), but we must face it and learn from it. When talking with him, carefully analyze the mistakes and find out the reasons: the main factors causing the mistakes are psychological mistakes and poor physical condition. Through the analysis of college entrance examination questions over the years, it is found that math test questions generally account for about 20 points, and these scores are "unnecessary" for her (in fact, students with average grades), as long as you do the right questions. This requirement is not high and unreasonable. After careful reflection, she realized that "it is impossible to make a qualitative breakthrough a few days before the exam, but we should keep the feeling of doing the problem." (This varies from person to person and cannot be generalized. Another student who scored in the college entrance examination also told me that she spent three days "frantically" doing six sets of simulation questions before the exam, and she felt particularly good during the college entrance examination. The key is to focus on her own actual situation. At the same time, communicate with her parents in time (parents are also very anxious), and do a good job of "logistics" while "reducing her burden".
In the first stage before the exam, the teacher's job is a bit like a sports coach, and teaching problem solving is not the most important. It is important to guide students' physical and mental health and let them enter the examination room in a competitive state.
