Extended data

The inventor of the Rubik's Cube is Elnor rubik.

1944 July 13 was born in Budapest, Hungary. His father is an engineer at the ESZTERGOM Aircraft Factory in Budapest, engaged in glider design. 1967 graduated from Budapest University of Technology, majoring in architecture, and then studied sculpture and interior design. He worked as an architect from 197 1 to 1975, and later became a professor at Budapest Institute of Applied Arts.

He likes to play with geometric cardboard and wooden models in the room. In the spring of 1974, he took some wooden blocks, combined them with retractable springs and began to twist them. In the process of twisting, he watched with fascination that the positions of the cubes changed with each other.

Then, he put the same colored paper on nine small squares on each side, six colored papers on six sides, and twisted it again. He likes the change of different colors and patterns, and then he finds that he can't twist it to its original state. He spent a whole month doing mathematical calculations and found the idea of color reproduction.

Drucker filed a patent application for cubic toys with the Hungarian Patent Office on 19751October 30th, and was granted the patent right on February 30th, 1977. The patent number is 170062. Since then, the Rubik's Cube has swept the world and is regarded as the pride of Hungarians and the representative of national intellectual creation. Inventor Elnor rubik is an idol of Hungarians.
