There are teaching and research sections for philosophy and society, economics, law, politics and administration, education, literature, foreign languages, journalism and communication, art, history and culture, management, mathematics and statistics, physical science and technology, chemistry and chemical engineering, resources and environment, life sciences, information science and engineering, grassland agricultural science and technology, international cultural exchange and physical education.

Yuzhong Campus of Lanzhou University is located in Xiaguanying Town, Yuzhong County, Lanzhou City, 47 kilometers away from Lanzhou Headquarters. The campus covers a total area of 5,468 mu, including 2 1.20 mu for construction and 3,348 mu for greening. The existing buildings of various types have a construction area of 404,297 square meters, which is the largest campus among the five teaching parks of Lanzhou University. Yuzhong Campus was founded in September 2000, and the first batch of freshmen welcomed in September 20001year. At present, there are 9000 undergraduates in three grades, 20 colleges and 64 undergraduate majors.
