The College of Mathematics and Statistics now has departments of Information and Computational Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Advanced Mathematics Teaching and Research Section, Mathematics Laboratory, High Performance Computing Center, Applied Mathematics Research Institute and so on. There are three undergraduate majors: information and computing science (engineering calculation and data processing), statistics (applied mathematical statistics) and mathematics and applied mathematics (mathematical finance).

He has two master's degrees in mathematics and statistics, and is authorized as a first-class discipline. Mathematics is the key subject of the doctoral program construction project of Chongqing University of Technology, and statistics is a school-level major. The college also undertakes the teaching of public mathematics courses in the whole school, in which advanced mathematics is an excellent course in Chongqing and the teaching team of advanced mathematics is an excellent teaching team at the municipal level.
