What's the difference between topology and theory?
Topology mainly studies some geometric problems arising from the need of mathematical analysis. So far, topology mainly studies the invariant properties and invariants of topological space under topological transformation.

Graph theory (graph theory)

Is a branch of mathematics, taking graphics as the research object, studying the mathematical theory and method of graphics composed of vertices and edges (also called straight lines).

A graph in graph theory is a graph composed of several given vertices and edges connecting the two vertices. This graph is usually used to describe a certain relationship between some things. Vertices represent things, and edges connecting two vertices indicate that two corresponding things have this relationship.

Graph theory originated from the famous seven-bridge problem in Konigsberg.

Difference: The research object of graph theory is equivalent to "one-dimensional topology".
