The mechanization of mathematics initiated by Wu Wenjun is called "Wu Method" internationally. Since then, major scientific research achievements in artificial intelligence, parallel numerical control technology, pattern recognition and many other fields have been widely used in mathematical mechanization.

The "Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Award" is sponsored by China Artificial Intelligence Society and named after Mr. Wu Wenjun, the pioneer and leader of intelligent science research in China and the winner of the first national highest science and technology award. Since the establishment of 20 1 1, it has been praised as "the highest intelligent science and technology award in China". [ 1]
