The postgraduate direction of applied chemistry mainly includes chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry and organic chemistry.

Students majoring in applied chemistry mainly study basic knowledge, basic theory, basic skills and related engineering and technical knowledge in chemistry. They are trained in scientific thinking and scientific experiments in basic research and applied basic research, have good scientific literacy, and have the basic skills to apply what they have learned and experimental skills to applied research, technology development and technology management.
