The National Mathematical Modeling Competition for College Students is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Chinese Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics.

Competition topics generally come from practical problems in engineering technology and management science, and are appropriately simplified and processed. Reward method

1. The organizing committee of each competition area employs experts to form an evaluation committee to select the first and second prizes (the third prize can also be added) in this competition area, and the proportion of winning prizes generally does not exceed one third. Those who complete qualified answers can get a certificate of successful participation.

2. The organizing committee of each division will send the excellent answer sheets of this division to the National Organizing Committee according to the quantity specified by the National Organizing Committee. The National Organizing Committee hired experts to form a national judging committee, and selected the first and second national prizes from the excellent answers sent by each division according to unified standards.

3. The first and second prizes in the whole country and each division will be awarded with award certificates.

4. Once a team that violates the rules of the competition is found, its qualification will be cancelled and its results will be invalid. The institution shall be warned and informed until the qualification of the school for the next year is cancelled. The National Organizing Committee will not recognize the award results of the competition areas that violate the provisions of the award work.
