The scope of the model test in Shenzhen Grade Three includes nine subjects: Chinese, Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Politics, History and Geography. Chinese, mathematics and English are compulsory subjects, while physics, chemistry, biology, politics, history and geography are elective subjects. The examination time for each subject is 90 minutes. The content of Chinese examination mainly includes Chinese, classical Chinese, modern Chinese reading, language expression, writing and so on. The content of mathematics examination mainly includes basic knowledge of mathematics, mathematical operation ability and mathematical thinking ability. English test content mainly includes vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, writing and so on. The content of physics examination mainly includes basic knowledge of physics, physical experiment ability and physical thinking ability. The contents of the chemistry examination mainly include the basic knowledge of chemistry, the ability of chemical experiment and the ability of chemical thinking. The content of biology examination mainly includes basic biological knowledge, biological experimental ability and biological thinking ability. The content of political examination mainly includes basic political knowledge and political thinking ability. The content of history examination mainly includes basic knowledge of history and historical thinking ability.
