How to cultivate students' innovative spirit in junior high school mathematics teaching
Cultivating students' innovative spirit and practical ability has become the main theme of China's educational reform. This paper expounds the methods of cultivating students' innovative spirit in mathematics teaching from three aspects: teachers should have innovative consciousness, cultivate students' innovative consciousness and appreciate more.

Today's society has fully realized the importance of innovation, and cultivating students' innovative spirit and practical ability has become the main theme of China's education reform. So how to cultivate students' innovative spirit in mathematics teaching? This paper expounds how to cultivate students' innovative spirit in mathematics teaching from three aspects: teachers themselves, cultivating students' innovative interest and appreciating more.

1. Teachers should have innovative consciousness, which is the premise of cultivating students' innovative spirit.

Education itself is a process of innovation. Teachers should have innovative consciousness, not just talking about innovation, but infiltrating innovative consciousness into our teaching philosophy and our daily teaching. Specifically, we should change the teaching concept centered on knowledge transfer, aim at cultivating students' innovative consciousness and practical ability, make bold breakthroughs in teaching concepts and teaching methods, and establish innovative teaching principles.

1. Update teachers' own teaching ideas, don't stick to the old rules and regulations that can't adapt to modern education, teach creatively, and cultivate students with innovative consciousness and spirit with scientific and rigorous teaching attitude, so that they can become all kinds of talents needed by the future motherland.

The new curriculum standard clearly points out: "Students are the masters of mathematics learning, and teachers are the organizers, guides and collaborators of mathematics learning." The irreplaceable law of learning tells us that both the acquisition of knowledge and experience, the development of intellectual ability, the cultivation of emotional will and the formation of ideological and moral character must be achieved through students' own positive thinking and practical activities. Therefore, we must change the traditional centralized teaching, spoon-feeding teaching and other teaching modes that are not in line with students' cognitive laws, and innovate classroom teaching reform. For the teaching materials suitable for students to "speak", we can adopt the teaching method of showing the conclusion first and then letting the students explore the truth, or let the students find the conclusion first and then explain the truth separately. At the same time, teachers should cultivate students' strong curiosity, thirst for knowledge and extensive interests; Have the spirit of daring to ask questions; Strong creative motivation and innovative consciousness; With full self-confidence, sense of responsibility and enterprising spirit, classroom teaching will always have the spark of innovation through students' "lectures" and teachers' guidance. Generation, innovative education is to make education the source of cultivating innovative spirit and stimulating creativity, not only to impart ready-made knowledge to students, but also to guide students to explore knowledge fields, thus activating students' innovative thinking and cultivating students' innovative spirit.

2. Establish a democratic teacher-student relationship and create a relaxed atmosphere; Build an equal communication platform and create a creative thinking environment.

The famous American educator and psychologist once pointed out that "the general conditions conducive to creative activities are psychological safety and psychological freedom". Therefore, respecting students' hobbies, individuality and personality and treating students with an equal, tolerant and friendly attitude will enable students to participate in teaching with teachers and become masters of learning in the process of education and teaching, thus forming a relaxed and harmonious educational environment. Only in this atmosphere can students give full play to their intelligence and creativity. Secondly, the class collective can brainstorm, which is conducive to multi-directional communication between students. In the class group, we can learn from each other. Consciously do a good job in cooperative teaching in classroom teaching, so that the roles of teachers and students are in dynamic change at any time, and design collective discussion, mutual check and complementarity, group work and other contents to exercise students' cooperative ability. Especially some difficult problems, let students discuss in class groups, and teachers and students participate in the discussion equally. Students can speak freely and express their opinions in a relaxed environment. Students dare to express their independent opinions, or correct others' ideas, or combine several ideas into a better idea, so as to cultivate students' collective innovation ability in the learning process. It is worth noting that any cooperation should not make some students in an obvious subordinate position, but should be carefully grasped, and the responsibility should be assigned to each student, so as to maximize the potential of students, so that each student in the group has something to do and each student can realize his own value in the group. Only when students communicate in a democratic and harmonious atmosphere can they collide with the sparks of thinking, solve problems creatively and cultivate students' creative thinking.

2. Stimulating students' interest is a necessary condition to cultivate students' innovative spirit.

Educator ushinski said: "Compulsory learning without the slightest interest will stifle students' desire to seek truth. "Interest is an important driving force for learning and innovation. The process of innovation needs interest to maintain. Interest is the best teacher and the source of students' innovation. Students can only passively accept knowledge and problems that they are not interested in, and it is impossible to stimulate students' main role, let alone stimulate their inherent innovation potential. Therefore, in mathematics teaching, it is necessary to fully stimulate students' interest in learning, mobilize students to actively think and explore problems, and provide inexhaustible motive force for ultimately innovating and solving problems.

1. Create situations to stimulate students' interest in learning and cultivate their innovative consciousness.

When talking about a function, I told the students at the beginning of the class: "Think of a number in your mind, then multiply it by 3 and 5, and then tell me the result, so that I can guess which number you have in mind." After listening to this, the students were very interested and raised their hands to try. I answered them one by one, speaking very quickly, and then asked the students to check. At this time, students naturally want to know how the teacher knows so quickly, without calculation. Through such activities, students' great interest has been aroused and the classroom has achieved good results. After learning the function once, students will creatively set some questions related to the function to ask other students, and even some students will set up several games to test their teachers and parents. By creating situations, we can stimulate students' interest in learning and cultivate their innovative consciousness.

2. In the teaching process, the competitive psychology of students is used to introduce the competitive mechanism into classroom teaching to cultivate students' innovative interest.

Students have a strong competitive psychology. If they fail repeatedly in their studies, they will lose confidence in their studies. It is necessary for teachers to create suitable opportunities for students to feel the joy of success and cultivate their innovative ability. For example, after learning axis symmetry, class emblem design contest and logical reasoning story contest will be held. Spread the wings of imagination, give full play to their different specialties, fully display themselves in activities, find the combination of life and mathematics, feel their victory psychology, experience the success opportunities and happiness brought by mathematics, and cultivate their interest in innovation.

3. Stimulate students' interest in learning and cultivate their innovative ability through students' hands-on practice.

For example, in probability class, I ask students to prepare in advance and do experiments in groups in class. In the next experiment, I intentionally increased the number of experiments. A group cannot be completed within the specified time. After discussion, the students thought of working in groups and sharing experimental data. This is actually an innovation. Experimental methods can achieve two purposes: ① experiments can stimulate students' interest in learning; (2) Skillfully design some questions to cultivate students' innovative ability in interest.

3. Encourage more, criticize less, treat students with appreciation and care for their innovative spirit.

Mr. Tao Xingzhi said, "There is Watt under your pointer, Newton in your cold eyes and Edison in your ridicule." Just don't criticize students too much. Your ridicule and ridicule will stifle middle school students' innovation. So we should encourage students more and criticize them less. We should treat students with appreciation. We must first affirm their whimsy and curiosity. We can put forward our own ideas to show that students have thought about this problem. Even if it is wrong, we must affirm this positive attitude. Only by loving students and caring about their innovative spirit can more Watts, Newton and Edison be born.

With the deepening of educational reform, it is the unshirkable responsibility of every educator to develop students' innovative thinking, cultivate their innovative spirit and cultivate innovative talents. However, the cultivation of students' innovative spirit is a hard and long-term work, which requires the unremitting efforts of one generation or even several generations. For the sake of our nation and our country, let's join hands and explore new ways to cultivate innovative talents.
