How high is the requirement for mathematics in communication engineering?
Hello, I majored in communication engineering at Beijing Jiaotong University. The mathematical requirements of communication engineering are relatively high. Freshman should study calculus, linear algebra, probability theory and other mathematics courses. Among them, Fourier transform and Laplace transform in calculus are more important, and other majors don't study this. The concept of matrix and probability theory in linear algebra are also very important, because the core of communication is actually reliability and effectiveness, and these are all problems of probability or random process.

Of course, none of this has much to do with my high school. The key is that universities should study hard.
