EMBA written test of China Europe international business school
The written test questions are set by China and Europe with reference to GMAT questions and written in Chinese to measure the logical and quantitative analysis and problem-solving ability that candidates should have in order to complete EMBA study. These questions are multiple choice questions. The written test includes basic mathematics, logical reasoning and conditional sufficiency, and the time is 2 hours.
In order to help you better prepare for the written test, you can apply for online tutoring courses at the EMBA Registration Service Center (http://emba.ceibs.edu). You can arrange to take online courses at any time according to your own time and arrangement.
If an alternative test is found, the applicant will be permanently disqualified.

Basic Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Conditional Adequacy of Written Test Content
The written test time is 2 hours.
The written test sites are Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen campuses.
1. Basic Mathematics (Problem Solving)
It mainly measures the ability of candidates to master basic mathematical operations, including basic arithmetic, algebra, plane geometry, solid geometry, preliminary analytic geometry, curves and charts, and does not involve advanced mathematics. Its knowledge scope does not exceed the depth of junior high school mathematics.
Example: During the promotion period, the sales price of a commodity decreased by 10% compared with last month, and the sales volume increased by 10% compared with last month. Q: How much has the turnover of this product changed during the promotion period compared with last month?
Increased by 65,438+00%; An increase of 65,438+0%; Reduced by 65,438+00%; (d) A reduction of 65,438+0%; (e) unchanged
Answer (d)
2. Logical reasoning (critical reasoning)
It mainly tests candidates' logical analysis and reasoning ability. The test consists of three parts: essay, question and choice. Among them, the essay is narrative and critical, and the questions raised include the assumptions implied in the article, the effective evidence to strengthen or weaken the whole argument, the framework or method of the article and its inference, which are used to test the candidates' organizational thinking or analytical reasoning ability. Specifically, its test contents include: (1) confirming arguments; (2) Determine the hypothesis or implied premise on which the argument is based; (3) Derive relevant conclusions from given premises or conditions; (4) Determine the method of the article; (5) Weakening or strengthening the argument; (6) explain the phenomenon; (7) Identifying logical errors; (8) Find similar arguments.
In the 1970s, foreign-made electronic products were very popular in the United States because of their low prices. In recent years, due to the adjustment of the exchange rate between the US dollar and other currencies, the price of imported electronic products has increased relative to the price of domestic products in the United States, but the sales volume of imported electronic products has not decreased in recent years.
Which of the following, if true, can best explain the high sales of imported electronic products?
(1) The Ministry of Foreign Trade has taken measures to prevent the price of electronic products from rising.
(2) The production cost of foreign electronic products is rising faster than that of the United States.
(c) It is estimated that in the near future, the credit crunch of American consumers will make the sales of imported electronic products depressed.
(d) American consumers think that imported electronic products are of high quality and it is worthwhile to spend high prices.
(e) Efforts to persuade Americans to buy their own products out of patriotism failed.
Answer (d)
3. Data adequacy
It mainly measures the ability of candidates to comprehensively analyze quantitative problems, and needs mathematical knowledge such as arithmetic, algebra and geometric principles. Candidates need to determine which conditions are related to the stem according to the conditions given in the stem, and under what circumstances the conditions given can meet the requirements of the stem. Each problem contains a math problem and two related explanations, two of which give certain conditions, and are marked with (1) and (2) respectively. Candidates are required to judge whether the conditions given in the explanation can solve the problem, and choose the answer from (a), (b), (c), (d) and (e). GMAT quantitative test, as far as its knowledge content is concerned, does not exceed the level of junior high school and senior high school.
Option (a): the condition (1) itself is enough, but the condition (2) itself is not enough; It means that the condition (1) alone can solve the problem, while the condition (2) alone cannot solve the problem;
Option (b): it means that condition (2) alone is enough and condition (1) alone is not enough; It means that condition (2) can solve the problem, but condition (1) can't;
Option (c): condition (1)+(2) is sufficient, but conditions (1) and (2) are not sufficient by themselves; It means that conditions (1) and (2) can be used at the same time to solve the problem, but neither can solve the problem;
Option (d): indicates that each condition is independent and sufficient; It means that conditions (1) and (2) can be used separately to solve the problem;
Option (e): indicates that the condition (1)+(2) is insufficient and additional conditions are needed. It means that even if conditions (1) and (2) are adopted at the same time, the problem cannot be solved, and some new conditions need to be added.
For example, according to the year-end bonus distribution plan formulated by a company, each executive can get 125 USD, and each non-executive can get 75 USD. If the company has 65,438+000 non-administrative staff, how many administrative staff does the company have?
(1) The company has a total of 120 employees.
(2) The company always gives a year-end bonus of 65,438 yuan+00,000 yuan.
Answer (d)
Standardized GMAT written test
GMAT, whose English full name is Postgraduate Management Entrance Examination, is currently used by many business schools around the world as the entrance examination for MBA/EMBA. The purpose of GMAT is not to test candidates' professional knowledge about enterprise management, but to test candidates' ability in logical and quantitative analysis and problem solving in order to complete MBA study.
If EMBA candidates choose to take the GMAT exam, the GMAT scores must be sent directly by the organizer GMAC to China Europe International Business School (course code: MDQ-HH-87; Country code: China). After receiving the application materials and GMAT scores, the Admissions Committee will immediately make a comprehensive evaluation and answer the applicant whether to arrange an interview.
