The national college entrance examination paper is referred to as the national examination. The national volume is divided into national volume A, national volume B and national volume C. ..

Starting from 20 13, the national volume of the new curriculum standard is divided into volume I and volume II. Starting from 20 16, the national volume of the new curriculum standard is divided into one volume, two volumes and three volumes.

Starting from 20 16, the national volumes I, II and III were renamed as national volumes B, A and C respectively. Small languages (Japanese/Russian/French/German/Spanish) uniformly use the national unified examination papers, and all provinces have no right to make their own propositions, and do not distinguish between volumes A, B and C. Since 2020, due to the reform of the national college entrance examination in some areas of the original curriculum standard, the first and second volumes of the national college entrance examination have been newly introduced.

Test paper difficulty

The first and second volumes of the new college entrance examination are formulated by the Ministry of Education according to the same examination outline, and the test questions of the two papers are basically the same, with little difference. It's just that one volume is a little more difficult than two.

Distribution of test papers

1. With the comprehensive reform of the college entrance examination, in 2022, the number of new college entrance examination provinces using the national unified college entrance examination papers (referred to as "national papers") increased to 10, and the number of old college entrance examination provinces decreased to 17. The national volume in 2022 includes the first and second volumes of the new college entrance examination (unified examination subjects) and the first and second volumes of the old college entrance examination.

The new national college entrance examination includes Jiangsu, Hebei, Fujian, Shandong, Hubei, Hunan and Guangdong. New high examination paper 2: Liaoning, Hainan and Chongqing.
