First, the law major.
Law major is one of the most technical majors in liberal arts. The premise of being able to engage in legal work is to be familiar with various legal provisions. There is no other shortcut, only one word back.
Undergraduate students need to know and master hundreds of thousands of laws. Faced with thousands of pages of law books, are they quite dizzy? In addition, law majors basically have to pass the French exam, which is known as the first in China, and the passing rate is only 10% each time. Without extraordinary efforts, you will definitely not get the results you want.
Second, the medical profession.
It's really difficult to study medicine. There are two kinds of educational system: five-year system and six-year system, and the training direction is different. If it is the undergraduate-postgraduate training mode, the seven-year undergraduate-postgraduate-doctoral training mode will save some time for eight years.
But in any case, you are basically in your thirties when you go to work. In this process, you have to bear not only academic pressure, but also psychological pressure, because all the peers around you are married, and the salary may already be very high.
The mainstream medical major is a typical major with long academic system, and the undergraduate academic system is basically five years. Better medical universities offer five plus three integration or eight-year programs. Medical students must undergo a certain number of years of standardized training before they can obtain the qualification certificate of practicing doctors, otherwise they will basically be unable to find employment.
Third, major in civil engineering.
365 days a year, travel more than 200 days, including Chinese New Year holidays, at least work overtime, design a project, whether it is transportation or architecture, hundreds or even tens of millions of lives are in your hands. You said there was little pressure, 100% quality assurance and lifelong responsibility. We should take every project seriously, no matter how long we work overtime.
In addition, you need high-intensity outdoor work, running around every day and getting sunburned. At the time of the final exam, structural mechanics and theoretical mechanics, material mechanics and civil engineering are the three mountains of many civil engineering students, and many students unfortunately failed on their way over the mountains.
Fourth, architecture major.
This major takes five years, and you will find that this major requires a lot of artistry, because many schools will have an art test before starting classes, and only after passing can they go to school and enter the major of architecture.
In the process of studying this major, in addition to staying up late to make models and draw pictures, you need to learn all kinds of software. Other professional exams are several days and hours, but your major will last for one to two months, and in the postgraduate entrance examination stage, you often have to draw by hand, and it takes five or six hours to draw a picture.
5. Mathematics major.
In college majors, mathematics is a basic major, and it is very difficult for many students to learn mathematics. It is even more painful for those who are not interested in studying mathematics. The core courses involved by students majoring in mathematics are all around mathematics.
And because they are mathematics majors, these courses are divided into very detailed courses, such as mathematical foundation, analysis, algebra, geometry, statistics, operational research, computational mathematics, financial mathematics, mathematical history, mathematical culture and so on. Almost every day I study and deal with mathematical formulas, and it is not easy to muddle through the exam every day.
Therefore, students who are not particularly interested in mathematics and lack mathematical thinking and hardship plan must carefully consider whether to apply for the exam.
