Chengdu University of Technology is a multi-disciplinary provincial key university focusing on science and engineering, with advantages in geology, energy, resource science, nuclear technology and environmental science. It was established by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Sichuan Provincial People's Government and the Chengdu Municipal People's Government. It is the first batch of "double first-class" world-class discipline construction universities in China.
The school has 18 teaching colleges and 7 1 undergraduate majors, covering eight disciplines: science, engineering, literature, management, economics, law, teaching and art.
The school has successively undertaken a large number of important projects, such as major national science and technology projects, national science and technology support programs, national natural science funds, national "863" programs, national "973" programs, national social science funds, and national geological survey programs. By the end of 20 17, the school had won 9 13 national and provincial science and technology awards, including the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the China International Science and Technology Cooperation Award, the National Natural Science Award, the China Patent Award, the National Technological Invention Award, the Sichuan Science and Technology Progress Award and the Sichuan Excellent Achievements Award.
