School of Information, Renmin University of China consists of the Department of Economic Information Management, the Department of Computer Science and Technology, the Department of Mathematics, the Institute of Data Engineering and Knowledge Engineering, and the Institute of Management Science and Engineering, among which the Institute of Data Engineering and Knowledge Engineering is the key laboratory of the Ministry of Education. Computer science and technology ranks 26th in China in the first-level discipline evaluation of the Ministry of Education.
