? After reading the blog post "Meeting for the First Time" written by teacher Wang Jun, I can't help but recall the dusty past when I first stepped onto the podium 27 years ago.
In the special summer of 1989, that is, the summer when teacher Wang Jun failed in the college entrance examination for the first time, 18 years old, I left the school gate of Luohe Normal School and went to Manjuji School, which was more than ten miles away from home, and became a primary school Chinese teacher.
This is a dilapidated school, with no gates, low walls and dilapidated classrooms. Not as happy and beautiful as "Meeting for the First Time" written by teacher Wang Jun, except that I am in a terrible mood, everything looks so unhappy. Yes, the five normal students who graduated with me, and the other four were assigned to schools with good conditions in all aspects, which are close to home. Only I was sent to this remote school that seems to have no shit. Why? With what?
The fourth grade primary school assigned me a class. The students are very lively and lovely, probably because the original teachers in this school are all old folk teachers, and I am the only young teacher. The children surrounded me and asked me, "Teacher, why are you so young?" "Teacher, where is your home? Why haven't I seen you before? " ..... I was a little at a loss, and rushed out of the classroom and locked myself in the office.
Everything is so annoying. As soon as I stepped onto the podium, my salary was one month in 63 yuan, and I brought noodles from home. I gave them to a group of teachers in the school who only had three or four teachers to eat. I usually eat mostly cabbage and radish. Master Chen, who can cook, loves to drink, but he doesn't cook when he is drunk. Several other old teachers rode home as soon as they had no food, so I had to accommodate them. The most unbearable thing is that once, that guy didn't cook for four consecutive meals! You can only eat at the teacher's home in the town and the student's home across the street from the school. The first month's food expenses are actually more than 40 yuan! At that time, I only got a month's salary in 63 yuan!
Also, the school was too far from home, and the road was not easy at that time. It will be dark when I come home from school on Saturday (six days a week). I must go to school early on Sunday afternoon. If I go on Monday morning, I will miss class. That winter seemed to come earlier than any other year, and the first snow seemed to fall earlier and more heavily than any other year. On the way to school, the cold north wind blows on my face, really like a knife. On the snowy road, you can't ride a bike at all, you can only push it. Because the road was too slippery, I fell several times along the way. Fortunately, I wear thick clothes in winter and am young, otherwise it would have been broken. What is worse than the physical cold and pain is the cold feeling in my heart. I really didn't want to be a teacher at that time.
To tell the truth, from the perspective of growth, I am still very lucky. Teacher Zhen, who teaches mathematics in our class, is a middle-aged female teacher with rich experience in education and teaching. She soon found out that my mood was wrong and talked to me after class, but she never preached, let alone criticized, only talked about her own educational and teaching experience, feelings, and some experiences in dealing with people and students. When there was no food, she asked me to go to her house for dinner. I don't know how to express my gratitude to Mr. Zhen. All I know is that she, the noble person in my life, made me give up all kinds of unnecessary distractions, calmed my restless heart and focused on students and teaching.
Maybe it's because I am the only young teacher in the school. Our headmaster Hu is also very kind to me. He often chats with me and sometimes asks me to go for a walk outside the school with him after dinner. He is honest, without rhetoric or deep calculation. Some local old folk music teachers formed a small group to overhead him. He never said anything, only said, "People are doing, and the sky is watching." He taught me to associate with Mr. Zhen more, not to contact with other people, not to be influenced by them, and not to praise my achievements, just to feel at ease.
Everything began to develop in a good direction, and my students lived up to expectations and did well in every exam. At the end of the summer vacation, the principal urged me to teach the fifth grade (graduating class, there was no sixth grade at that time), and the math teacher was Teacher Zhen. That year, Qi Xin and I worked hard together and dedicated our whole body and mind to this class. After breakfast every day, there are few students in other classes, and all the students in our class have sat down and started reading in the morning; After lunch, students from other classes are still chasing and fighting on campus. Teacher Zhen and I have started to walk into the classroom to help students with their homework. It has been a long time since school was over in the afternoon, and we are still giving lectures to several students. After dinner, I will visit my home when I have time to learn about the students' family situation and educate their children with my parents ... I still clearly remember that I taught them to write Chinese calligraphy, personally evaluate compositions and draw bamboo, and I still remember many warm and unforgettable pictures of my parents sending me eggs and asking me to eat at their home.
That year, we won the first place in all the exams and competitions related to grade five in the township: the first place in the composition competition of grade five, the first place in the individual (which was also the first prize in the county competition later), the first place in the calligraphy competition, the first place in the individual, the Chinese knowledge competition, the mathematics competition, and the joint entrance examination of grade five Chinese and mathematics. The most important thing is the entrance examination for primary school graduation. There is no doubt that we won the first place in Chinese and mathematics. There is a *** 14 student in the township, and the total score of the two subjects exceeds 170. Our class accounts for 8 students, and only one of the top five students lost the second place. I still remember the names of those students, such as Han Shujuan, Liu Science and Technology Commission, Sun Zhijun, Sun Yonggang, Sun Song and Han Fenhe.
After the results were announced, Manjuji School and the former town and village where the school was located celebrated. Only President Hu and Teacher Zhen are a little wrong. They told me that you shouldn't go anywhere after the summer vacation, okay? At that time, I didn't understand what it meant, so I readily agreed. However, before the summer vacation was over, the school district sent me to Shangqiao Town No.2 Middle School.
In this way, I left the Manjuji school that I didn't want to go to at first, and now I can't bear to part-the place where youth blooms and sweat flows has embarked on my new road.
