GRE is an entrance examination result required by graduate schools of universities all over the world, and it is also the most important criterion for admissions committees to decide whether to grant scholarships to applicants. GRE was first jointly organized by Harvard, Yale, Columbia and Princeton, and was originally undertaken by Carnegie Foundation.
