How to calculate the total score of mathematics in the second volume of the fifth grade
General fraction is to convert two or more fractions with different denominators into fractions with the same denominator, so as to add and subtract these two fractions. Becoming the same denominator is the core of general division.

Taking 1/2+3/2 as an example, the general division can be carried out according to the following steps:

First, find the least common multiple of the denominators of two fractions. In 1/2+2/3, the least common multiple of denominator is 6.

Divide these two fractions into several fractions with their lowest common multiple of 6 as the denominator. 1/2 = 3/6 ,2/3 = 4/6

Add and subtract according to the same denominator score: 1/2+2/3 = 3/6+4/6 =7/6.
