What is the content of PSAT exam? How difficult is it?
At the end of the exam, you will get a comprehensive score, two partial scores, and various more subdivided partial scores. The examination itself includes four timing parts: evidence-based reading (evidence-based reading), writing and language (writing and language), mathematics (without calculator) (without calculator in mathematics) and mathematics (with calculator allowed).

Evidence based reading

The evidence-based reading part of PSAT tests the ability to read the article, critically thinks about the main idea and key details of the article, and answers related questions. These questions will test some concepts, such as grasping evidence, words in context, historical/social research and analysis in science.

Writing and Language Writing and Language

The writing and language section of PSAT will test your ability to identify and correct grammatical errors, and your ability to modify words and phrases to improve the text. This section will cover some tests of standard English usage, including the use of tenses, punctuation marks and coordinate structures.

Mathematical mathematics

PSAT has two math parts: one allows the use of calculators, and the other does not. The questions include four-choice multiple-choice questions and short-answer questions (the card drawing options include numbers 0-9, decimal symbols and fractional lines). Some questions include two related parts. The information in the first part is used to answer the questions in the second part.
