In mathematics, Taylor series represents a function by adding infinite terms-series, and these added terms are obtained from the derivative of the function at a certain point.

Taylor formula got its name from British mathematician Brook Taylor. He first described this formula in a letter of 17 12, although he found a special case in james gray Gauri of 167 1. Before 1797, Lagrange first proposed Taylor theorem with remainder.

/kloc-in the 4th century, Madava discovered some special functions, including Taylor series of trigonometric functions such as sine, cosine, tangent and arc tangent.

In the17th century, james gray Guo Li also continued his research in this field and published several maclaurin series. Until 17 12, Taylor, a mathematician who is one of the best representatives of the British Newton School, put forward a general method, which is Taylor series. Professor colin maclaurin of Edinburgh University discovered a special case of Taylor series, called McLaughlin series.
