20 14, 10/0. On October 30th, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the National Health and Family Planning Commission and state administration of traditional chinese medicine * * * jointly held the second commendation meeting for masters of traditional Chinese medicine in Beijing, and awarded 29 people including Shi Xuemin the honorary title of "masters of traditional Chinese medicine", enjoying the treatment of advanced workers and model workers at the provincial and ministerial levels. Since the early 1970s, he has devoted himself to the research on acupuncture treatment of stroke (cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage), one of the three most difficult diseases recognized in the world, and founded the acupuncture method of "waking up the brain and inducing resuscitation", which opened up a new way to treat stroke, improved the cure rate of stroke and reduced the disability rate. At present, the clinical and experimental research of "Xingnao Kaiqiao" acupuncture has reached the molecular gene level. The academic concept of "acupuncture in metrology", which was founded in the early 1980s, filled the gap in the development of acupuncture and was widely used in the treatment of various intractable diseases. Over the years, more than 20 scientific research achievements have been made, more than 30 papers have been published and more than 20 doctoral students have been trained. He has published more than 20 books such as Outline of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in Shi Xuemin. The acupuncture method of "awakening the brain and inducing resuscitation" and "manual measurement" have been selected into higher education textbooks for many times. In recent years, on the basis of the acupuncture theory of "refreshing the brain and inducing resuscitation", the "stroke unit" therapy has been established, and the "cerebral thrombosis tablet" and "Qi Dan hemiplegia capsule" have been invented successively, creating a new idea for treating cerebrovascular diseases.
Academician Shi Xuemin is the academic leader of acupuncture in the First Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Engaged in clinical, scientific research and teaching work of acupuncture and geriatrics for more than 40 years. His rigorous and realistic academic attitude made him learn from others, be brave in innovation and be the first, and formed his unique academic thought system. Academician Shi Xuemin has always insisted on inheriting, developing and carrying forward Chinese traditional medicine, insisting on "combination of Chinese and western medicine, combination of Chinese and western medicine", combination of acupuncture and medicine, and both form and spirit. The acupuncture method of refreshing brain and inducing resuscitation, which he founded, has remarkable curative effect on stroke and created a myth in the history of world medicine. He first put forward the quantitative theory of acupuncture manipulation, and made relevant research, and determined the new definition and quantitative operation of twisting reinforcing and reducing manipulation, which made the traditional acupuncture manipulation develop to standardization and quantification and greatly promoted the modernization process of traditional Chinese medicine. Based on more than 40 years of clinical experience and unique academic ideas, we have developed three new drugs "Qi Dan Hemiplegia Capsule" for the treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. The product has remarkable clinical efficacy, fully embodies the essence of the theoretical system of TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment, and has successfully obtained the certificate of new drug and put it into the market. 1, establish the method of refreshing brain and inducing resuscitation, and open up a new way to treat stroke;
At the end of 1970s, Shi Xuemin innovatively put forward that the fundamental cause of stroke is "liver wind with phlegm, phlegm turbid in the middle, blood stasis covering the brain, which leads to brain closure but can't guide qi", established the principle of refreshing the brain and the method of acupuncture, and achieved remarkable effect in treating stroke, which has been continuously developed and improved in practice. Thus, the treatment system of stroke from the brain was established, and the acupuncture technique with clear quantitative norms was formulated, which changed the traditional principle of acupoint selection and acupuncture method, which was mainly based on acupoint selection and lacked clear quantitative norms By adopting internationally recognized diagnostic criteria and Edinburgh Scandinavian curative effect evaluation criteria, 4005 inpatients with cerebrovascular disease in different clinical stages were systematically and strictly observed. The clinical cure rate and effective rate were 48% and 83% in acute stage, 42% and 62% in recovery stage and 67% and 90% in aura stage, respectively, which were obviously superior to traditional acupuncture and traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment. As for the mechanism of acupuncture, he made a deep and systematic clinical and basic study on cerebral blood flow, hemorheology, neurotransmitter metabolism in the brain, cerebrovascular function, morphology and brain metabolism, intracellular calcium overload and even gene level. The main mechanism of this acupuncture method in treating stroke is revealed. The results show that this acupuncture method has many benign regulatory effects on the above abnormal changes and risk factors related to cerebral infarction, especially acupuncture can regulate vascular function, promote compensatory opening of blood vessels in ischemic areas, improve brain metabolism, increase the activity of free radical scavenging enzymes, regulate excessive excitability of amino acids, inhibit intracellular calcium overload, improve the damage of brain cells and ultrastructure, promote the synthesis of high-heat protein and regulate the expression of c-fos gene in different brain regions, so acupuncture can be used to treat stroke. He designed, implemented and presided over the "Clinical and Experimental Research on the Treatment of Stroke with Acupuncture for Awakening Brain and Enlightening Consciousness", which was appraised by Tianjin Science and Technology Commission in 1995 and won the third prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award 1995. It is the highest scientific and technological award obtained by the Acupuncture Research Institute of China Science and Technology at present, and has been popularized and applied in China as one of the top ten scientific and technological achievements promotion projects in state administration of traditional chinese medicine in 1998.
2. Establish a new concept of "acupuncture manipulation metrology" and open up a new field of acupuncture manipulation research;
The implementation of acupuncture manipulation is the key link in acupuncture treatment of diseases. The concept of acupuncture manipulation in past dynasties is vague and lacks standardized quantitative operation, which makes it difficult for doctors to master and affects the improvement of clinical efficacy. On the basis of quantitative research on acupuncture treatment of stroke, he summed up the quantitative laws of acupuncture for nine diseases, and through rigorous experimental research, he took the lead in proposing the direction and magnitude of acupuncture intensity, action time and interval between acupuncture as the four elements of quantitative research on acupuncture, which made the traditional acupuncture methods develop in the direction of standardization and quantification. In addition, according to the frequency, amplitude and action direction of torsion, he put forward the quantitative definition and standardized operation of the most commonly used torsion reinforcing and reducing methods, that is, the torsion amplitude is less than 90 degrees and the angular frequency is fast (more than 200 revolutions per minute) as the supplementary method; On the contrary, the torsion amplitude is greater than 180 degrees, and the frequency is slower (less than 60 revolutions per minute), which updates the traditional definition and operation of "thumb twisting forward to supplement and backward to diarrhea". The "Quantitative Research on Acupuncture Manipulation" presided over won the second prize of 1986 for major scientific and technological achievements of traditional Chinese medicine.
3. Improvement and development of the basic theory of acupuncture and moxibustion.
He has profound attainments in the research on the basic theory of acupuncture-acupoint efficacy and meridian diseases. In the aspect of acupuncturism, the understanding of acupoints' efficacy and indications in ancient literature only lists some diseases, and there is a lack of high-level induction and summary of acupoints' efficacy with the theory of traditional Chinese medicine to establish their indications. Professor Shi Xuemin systematically summarized the efficacy of 14 meridian 36 1 point for the first time, and perfected the theoretical system of acupoints.
In the study of meridians, the chapter "Lingshu Meridian" written before 2000 is the basis of meridian theory, and 12 meridian is the key content, which is an important basis for guiding acupuncture clinic. However, due to the difficulty of ancient Chinese, it is difficult for learners to understand the essence of diseases and syndromes in past dynasties. Academician Shi Xuemin combined with modern clinical practice, analyzed and divided the pulse diagnosis disease groups, and made a comparative study with modern related diseases, and scientifically deciphered and expounded the pulse diagnosis disease system of 12.
