2. Understand the origin of the legendary New Year and know how to have a happy and lively New Year.

Activity preparation:

PPT activity flow:

First, know Nian beast,

1. Do you know what a year is?

2. (as shown in figure 1) This is the year. What does it look like? How do you feel when you see it?

On the coldest day in winter, Nian will run down from the mountain and open his mouth to eat lonely people!

4. Do you know what loneliness is? Loneliness is being alone, without friends and family.

Second, get rid of Nian beast.

1. Would you like to be eaten by Nian? Who knows how to drive Nian away? (The child tells it with his existing experience)

2. Look at how the people in the picture get rid of Nian beast. (Show the pictures and tell the children one by one)

3. You know the way to get rid of the Nian beast in the picture. Tell us about it. (Please tell some children)

4. People who are afraid of noise, fire and bright colors, people who don't eat and are not lonely (permeated with the custom that everyone should go home for reunion during the New Year).

With so many ways, Nian was really scared away by us and didn't dare to eat people.

3. Happy New Year

1. (showing the picture of the child in the mobile phone) What is the child doing in the picture? Who do you think he is calling? What would you say? During the Chinese New Year, some children called me and told me to have a happy New Year. I am very happy. What's your mood during the Spring Festival? We all had a good time, but look at Nian. What's his mood? What would he think?

What would you do if it were you? Look at how the children in the picture do it. (Say to Nian: Happy New Year, Nian)

3. (Show the annual change chart) So, I'm a little embarrassed about Nian. Its face is getting redder and redder, and it has become a lovely New Year!

Look, the New Year is holding lanterns to say Happy New Year to us! What are you going to say to it?

Next, let's listen to the story completely with a happy mood.

Reflection:

The first link is to introduce picture books to attract children in an exaggerated way, but the first link takes too long. The second link requires children to talk more about pictures and teachers to guide them less. Otherwise, just like sociology, the language needs to be improved. After each painting is finished, the teacher can make a summary, which can be in the form of children's songs, which is relatively smooth. All the children in our class have heard stories about the Chinese New Year, so there is not much promotion of this activity, so we can make some changes in the third link, and we can add some Chinese New Year customs in other places, so that children can see and talk about it and understand that different places have different customs, but the Chinese New Year is for the sake of everyone's happiness.
