How do we use artificial intelligence in the education industry?
The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy released two important reports entitled "Preparing for the Future of Artificial Intelligence" and "National Strategic Plan for R&D Artificial Intelligence" in June 20 16. The report believes that artificial intelligence technology has a more and more profound impact on all fields of society, and education is an important field of artificial intelligence application.

So far, artificial intelligence has begun to play an important role in many social fields. Artificial intelligence and intelligent education have led the innovation of education and teaching, which has also become an inevitable trend of the development of educational informatization.

(1) Intelligent tutor, personalized teaching and learning

Intelligent tutor is an important application of artificial intelligence in education. The first intelligent tutor in the world appeared in 1982. It mainly simulates teachers' teaching experience and methods by computer, and transfers knowledge to learners with different needs and characteristics.

(2) Intelligent assistants, such as educational robots

Intelligent assistants are used in the field of education, mainly as teaching assistants for teachers and learning assistants for students.

Teaching assistants can help teachers complete auxiliary or repetitive tasks in class, such as roll call, marking papers and invigilation. It can also help teachers collect and sort out information, assist in preparing lessons and teaching research, reduce teachers' burden and improve work efficiency. Learning assistants can quickly find the resources that students need, or push learning materials in a targeted way to help students manage their learning tasks and time.

(3) Intelligent evaluation of real-time tracking and feedback.

Intelligent assessment emphasizes measuring students' development by means of automation, and undertakes some tasks that human beings are responsible for, including physical work, mental work and cognitive work, which greatly shortens the time and improves the accuracy. The automatic evaluation method realized by artificial intelligence technology can track learners' learning performance in real time and make appropriate evaluation.

(4) Mining and intelligent analysis of educational data.

Educational data mining is a comprehensive application of mathematical statistics, machine learning, data mining and other technologies and methods to process and analyze educational big data. Through data modeling, we can find the correlation between learners' learning results and variables such as learning content, learning resources and teaching behavior, so as to predict learners' future learning trends.

On the one hand, educational data mining and intelligent analysis can recommend learning activities, resources, experiences and tasks to learners and improve learning efficiency; On the other hand, it can provide more and more objective feedback information for educators or intelligent learning systems themselves, so as to better adjust and optimize educational decisions and improve curriculum development. At the same time, it can also improve the teaching plan and organize the teaching content according to the learners' learning status, so as to improve the teaching process.

(5) Learn to analyze and learn digital portraits.

Learning digital portrait refers to the three-dimensional and visual representation of each learner's learning psychology and external learning behavior by mining, counting and analyzing different types of dynamic learning data. The realization of digital portrait characterization learning must also be based on key technologies such as intelligent data mining and machine learning algorithm. By depicting three-dimensional visual digital portraits for learners, we can provide accurate services for personalized learning of different students and targeted teaching of teachers.

At present, the traditional artificial intelligence learning system is more to meet the learning needs of a special field. These systems are often used as a supplement to school education, and have not profoundly affected learners' daily study and life. However, artificial intelligence has also shown an overwhelming impact on human life in the future. With the continuous research and development of all kinds of artificial intelligence educational products, I believe that in the near future, even in this year or two, we will see the revolutionary changes brought by artificial intelligence to human education, especially the educational methods of educators and the learning methods of learners.
