How to educate children from an early age?
Four correct orientations of early education

There are many kinds of early childhood education courses, and parents often don't know how much energy to invest and where to go. It is inevitable to make wrong choices that are not conducive to children's growth. In fact, parents can put "early education" back as long as they have a correct attitude and rational understanding.

First, parent-child curriculum: don't place too much hope on it.

Case: After taking maternity leave, Ms. Zhang has to give her three-month-old son to the nanny. Because she was worried that the nanny would not educate her children well, the children would fall behind others. When her son was 4 months old, Ms. Zhang enrolled her son in a parent-child class and asked the nanny to take care of the children.

Comments: Parent-child course is a training course provided by early education institutions for infants and young children, mainly for children under 3 years old. Children must be led by their parents, which is the origin of the word "parent-child". Parent-child courses mainly use various teaching toys to stimulate children's senses. Compared with the living environment and nature, the stimulation of parent-child classes is limited, and parents can't pin all their hopes on parent-child classes.

Suggestion: It doesn't matter whether you choose a parent-child course or not if you can provide a good environment for sensory stimulation, such as graphics that cause visual exploration, objects of different materials that can be touched, toys that can be operated by hand and make various sounds, etc. If you choose parent-child courses, parents should accompany their children as much as possible and apply the educational methods learned from parent-child courses to daily life.

Second, specialty training: according to physiological characteristics, interest comes first.

Case: Jia Jia just turned 3 years old, and his mother bought the piano home and looked for teachers to teach him everywhere. I found some teachers. They all thought the children were too young and said, "Don't come to school until you are five years old." The horse disagreed. "Learn early, children won't lose at the starting line!"

Comments: The suitable age for learning the piano is 4 ~ 5 years old. Premature intensive piano practice will deform children's fingers and ultimately affect their future development. Specialty education should aim at purifying the mind and cultivating sentiment, bring happiness and self-confidence to children and let them enjoy life more actively. There must be two prerequisites for the cultivation of specialties, namely, following children's physiological characteristics and hobbies. Because the study of each artistic specialty has its critical period, each child's hobbies are different. If you don't choose an interest class for your child from the child's point of view, or force your child to arrange too much special study, it will not only distract your child's energy, but also increase your burden and affect your child's all-round physical and mental development.

Suggestion: form an understanding that if you learn a skill at the expense of hurting children's initiative and self-confidence, then such a skill is not worth learning. We should have a good attitude and a correct attitude towards junior college education. Don't equate specialty learning with quality education, and don't regard specialty as a shot in the arm for children to win at the starting line.
