Artificial intelligence (AI):

It is a branch of computer science. It includes developing computer programs to accomplish tasks that require human intelligence. AI algorithm can solve learning, perception, problem solving, language understanding and logical reasoning. Artificial intelligence has many uses in modern society. For example, the application of AI algorithm in Google search, Amazon recommendation engine and SatNav pathfinder. Most artificial intelligence programs are not used to control robots. Even if AI is used to control robots, AI algorithm is only a part of a larger robot system, which also includes sensors, actuators and non-AI programming.

Robot:

Is a programmable machine, which can usually perform a series of actions autonomously or semi-automatically. There are three important factors that make up a robot: the robot interacts with the physical world through sensors and actuators. Robots are programmable. Robots are usually autonomous or semi-automatic.
