Taiyuan University of Science and Technology 1953 is under the Central Ministry of Machinery Industry. 1955 Changchun automobile school and Hankou machine building school merged into forging specialty. 1960 was renamed Taiyuan institute of heavy machinery. 1965 Dalian university of technology and Shenyang institute of mechanical and electrical engineering merged into the major of lifting and transportation machinery. 1998 was changed from provincial departments to * * * construction, with provincial management as the mainstay.
