Chen Yuanming, male, Han nationality, born in September, 1963, from Xiangtan, Hunan, is a research librarian. 1988 graduated from Wuhan Institute of Water Resources and Electric Power with a bachelor's degree in engineering.

He used to be the deputy section chief and section chief of the Science and Technology Information Department of Changjiang Academy of Sciences, and now he is the director of the Archives and Documentation Office of the Science and Technology Achievements Promotion and Information Center of Changjiang Academy of Sciences. He is also a member of Central China Branch of China Water Conservancy and Electric Power Translation Society, Hubei Library Society and Hydropower Information Research Society of China Water Conservancy Society.

Chen Yuanming's character story:

Chen Yuanming is mainly engaged in scientific and technological literature information management and development and utilization research. He presided over and participated in the introduction and application of the book information integrated management system Sulcmis3 of Shenzhen University, Chongqing Weipu Chinese sci-tech periodical database and (Superstar) digital library.

I won the first prize 1, the second prize 1 and the third prize of the provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological information (intelligence) achievement award, among which the project "Information service in scientific research and production of the Three Gorges South-to-North Water Transfer Project" presided over by me won the first prize of the national excellent water conservancy scientific and technological information achievement.

As the first author, he won the second prize and the third prize of the thesis prize awarded by 1 Hubei Library Society. The co-authored paper won the second prize of outstanding achievements in archival science of Hubei Archives Society in 2006.
