Recently, Zhejiang Provincial People's Government approved Hangzhou Municipal People's Government and agreed to establish Qiantang New District. Qiantang New District includes Hangzhou Dajiangdong Industrial Cluster and Hangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, two streets of Xiasha and Baiyang in Jianggan District, five streets of Hezhuang, Peng Yi, Wan Xin, Linjiang and Qianjin in Xiaoshan District, and other areas within the planning control of Hangzhou Dajiangdong Industrial Cluster (excluding administrative villages in the border areas under the jurisdiction of Dangwan Town). Qiantang New District is an important part of the intelligent corridor in the east of Hangzhou, and will become an important window to show the development level of advanced manufacturing industry in China.
