On "Speaking Text and Writing Composition"
Since last semester, the textbook has added a unit guide page in front of each unit, which puts forward the theme and language elements of the text arrangement of this unit, and the language elements also include the writing requirements of each unit.

Last week, I taught the first unit. The writing requirement of the first unit is "Write down what you have observed as clearly as possible", and the writing content of this unit is also "My vegetative friend". I think writing and composition should definitely be interlinked. It would be wrong to talk about the text first and then the composition.

When we talk about the text, we will talk about new words and analyze the text, but have we thought about the writing of the text? If so, is there any connection between the writing method of the text and the writing requirements of the unit? I think this is the part that I often overlook.

For example, in Unit 1, "Try to write clearly what you have observed", we need to think about how the authors of these four texts have written clearly what they have observed, what writing methods are available, and which of these writing methods are suitable for children at this stage. Not only should you think clearly, but you should also sum up specific writing skills for your children.

We always say "take the text as an example". If we always stay in appreciating good words and sentences, analyzing good words and sentences and separating teaching from writing, then our children may never write a composition.
