Guiyang No.1 Middle School began in the fifth year of Qing Jiaqing (1800), and was founded by Chang Ming, a political envoy. Later, Guiyang High School was established in 1902. 1905 Guiyang High School moved to Xueyadong, Cheng Nan, Guiyang.
